By ROB MAADDI (AP Pro Football Writer)The NFL’s competition committee will consider making roughing-the-passer penalties and personal-foul penalties subject to video review.The two potential rule changes were among nine the league announced Monday in its 2023 playing rules, bylaw and resolution proposals submitted by clubs.The Los Angeles Rams proposed the change that would allow teams to challenge roughing-the-passer calls. Several such calls sparked outrage last season, leaving players and coaches questioning what constitutes a legal hit on a quarterback.The Detroit Lions proposed giving teams an opportunity to challenge personal foul calls.The competition committee will consider the rule changes later this month when NFL owners gather in Arizona for their annual meeting.Other proposals include an option to try to convert a fourth-and-20 from the kicking team’s 20-yard line instead of attempting an onside kick. Denver started the day signing offensive players left and right, then turned its attention to defense late in the day.After locking up their leading tackler from 2022, linebacker Alex Singleton, to a three-year deal, the Broncos then came to an agreement with Arizona defensive lineman Zach Allen on a three-year deal, a league source confirmed to The Post. ESPN reported the deal is worth $45.75 million and comes with $32.5 million guaranteed.Allen is essentially a replacement for Dre’Mont Jones, the defensive lineman who spent the first four years of his career with the Broncos. Jones on Monday agreed to a three-year deal with Seattle that, according to NFL Network, checked in similar to Allen’s. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Police are investigating a stabbing incident involving minors on a MUNI bus near the Union Square neighborhood, the San Francisco Police Department Investigations Bureau confirmed to KRON4. Two students arrested for knives on campus days after deadly stabbing at Montgomery High School Around 4:41 pm., officers were informed of a stabbing aboard a MUNI bus near Stockton and Sutter streets. At the scene, officers found one minor suffering from a potential stab wound. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene while officers provided medical aid. The victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. The preliminary investigation into the incident revealed that a fight had taken place on the bus between several minor boys. Officers on the scene have detained multiple subjects who they believe were involved in the assault. No arrests have been made at the time. (KRON) -- Palisades Tahoe ski resort has recorded 10 inches of snow within the past 24 hours, bringing its total winter snowfall total up to 648 inches."We are now sitting at 648 inches of snowfall this season bringing us to 162% of our average winter snowfall. While the snow is terrific, our mountain operations crews have been working non-stop since the storms started. HERCULES, Calif. (KRON) – A police pursuit and discovery of catalytic converter theft tools on Monday resulted in one person being arrested, and one man is still at large, according to the Hercules Police Department.A police officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle with no license plates. The driver refused to pull over and a slow speed pursuit began through a residential neighborhood, police said. Teen rescued from suspected sex trafficker in San Pablo The vehicle began to slow down as it approached traffic, and the passenger of the vehicle jumped out and fled on foot.
