New York State Police confirm that at approximately 4:05 p.m., they assisted Niskayuna Police and Niskayuna Fire in responding to a report of a body in the water. STAMFORD, N.Y (NEWS10)- Multiple agencies are on scene responding to a possible drowning that occurred at TheZone Boys Camp earlier Saturday afternoon. The New York State Police said at approximately 3 p.m, crews were called to the area for a possible drowning. TheZone Jewish sleepaway camps are a division of Camp Oorah. It is confirmed that two people were rescued after a canoe capsized, and one person is unaccounted for. Details on the individuals are unknown. Search and Rescue personnel remain on scene along with members from the Schoharie County Sheriff's Office, Jefferson and Stamford fire, and rangers from the Department of Environmental Conservation. A fire broke out Saturday evening in the Golden Gate Canyon area in the 4200 block of Bear Road.The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued a pre-evacuation notice for the area northwest of Bear Road and Golden Gate Canyon Road because of a wildland fire.“If you are concerned about your safety or believe you are in danger, do not wait for an official evacuation order – leave immediately,” the sheriff’s office said in a tweet.Colorado 93 from Golden to Crawford Gulch Road is closed, with no estimate of reopening.Fire alert: Golden Gate Canyon area in 4200 block of Bear Rd. One person was killed and three others were critically injured after a shooting broke out in a busy West Hills shopping center on Saturday afternoon.The person killed is a 45-year-old man. The three other victims are a 35-year-old woman, a 35-year-old man and a 45-year-old man, all in serious or critical condition, said the Los Angeles Police Department.At least three suspects are in custody after initially fleeing the scene, police confirm.Officers responded to reports of a shooting at a shopping plaza near Fallbrook Avenue and Vanowen Street around 3:45 p.m.Citizen video showed a large police and emergency responder presence in the parking lot as other shoppers looked on worriedly. A man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly raping and assaulting an elderly person in San Bernardino County.The suspect was identified as Willie Clarence Rush III, 22, from Apple Valley, by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.Officers received reports of a possible rape at a home on the 20300 block of Thunderbird Road in Apple Valley around 4:21 a.m.When authorities arrived, they found an “elderly victim who had been assaulted and raped.” Investigators said the suspect had broken into the victim’s home that morning.The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was later released, officials said.Rush was arrested on multiple charges including assault with intent to rape, rape by force or fear, elder abuse, oral copulation using force or injury and more.He is being held on $2 million bail as the investigation remains ongoing.Anyone with information is asked to contact Apple Valley Police Detective Kevin Riberich at 760-240-7400. One motorcyclist was killed and another was seriously injured Saturday after a crash with a Subaru Crosstrek on Highway 1 near the seaside town of Bolinas, according to the California Highway Patrol.Emergency crews declared the first motorcyclist dead at the scene. The motorcyclist with major injuries was airlifted to John Muir hospital. The driver of the Subaru received minor injuries, according to CHP Officer Darrell Horner.Horner didn’t have all the details of the crash, but said that both men on the motorcycles appeared to be traveling together. The accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. near Fairfax Bolinas Road, according to the CHP.
