AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Jordan Spieth was caught in such a whirlwind after winning the Masters eight years ago, whether it was winging his way to New York for television appearances or throwing out the first pitch at a Texas Rangers game, that he never bothered to find a tailor for his green jacket.Leave it to Augusta National, where every piece of the property is finely tailored, to take care of such details.“I just had it everywhere and I never got it fixed,” Spieth said Monday, “and I think they have done it since here, because the arms certainly fit a lot better. I left a little room just in case I put on a few pounds over the years.”That’s some forward thinking.Of course, a better solution would be to keep winning new ones. There was a time when that seemed inevitable. Spieth was just 21 back in 2015, when he became the first wire-to-wire Masters champion since Ray Floyd nearly four decades earlier, tying Tiger Woods’ then-record of 18 under along the way. He went on to ...Valencia held by Rayo, stays near relegation zone in Spain

WASHINGTON (AP) — First lady Jill Biden said Monday that she wants the defeated Iowa women’s basketball team to be invited to the White House in addition to the national title winner Louisiana State University. She watched LSU’s 102-85 victory over Iowa from the stands on Sunday night. Biden, speaking at the Colorado state capital in Denver, praised Iowa’s sportsmanship and congratulated both teams on their performance.“I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come,” she said. “But, you know, I’m going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment about whether President Joe Biden would also extend a White House invite to Iowa — and whether it would be a joint visit with LSU or a separate engagement. In her remarks, Biden also marveled at how far women’s sports in the U.S. have come since Title IX in 1972 ga...En video: Hispana afirma que hombre con machete la persiguió tras incidente de ira al volante

DENVER (KDVR) — Very little seems to sour homebuyers in the Denver metro area. The Front Range housing market has been characterized by limited supply, limited development and stratospheric prices for the better part of three years. Denver area homes are the nation's eighth most expensive, according to the March market report from Realtor.com, which compares real estate markets across the 50 largest metro areas in the U.S. The median listing price in March was $655,000. This would require a roughly $200,000 household income, assuming current interest rates, a 30-year mortgage and a 20% down payment. This is the household income threshold for the top 10% of American households, according to the World Economic Forum. (CNN) — Special counsel prosecutors have secured evidence including daily notes, texts, emails and photographs and are focused on cataloguing how Donald Trump handled classified records around the Mar-a-Lago resort and those who may have witnessed the former president with them, according to multiple sources familiar with the investigation. The new details come amid signs the Justice Department is taking steps typical of near the end of an investigation. The recent investigative activity before a federal grand jury in Washington, DC, also includes subpoenaing witnesses in March and April who had previously spoken to investigators, the sources said.
