Santu Maya Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Foothill Boulevard [Oakland, CA] Driver Arrested after Fatal Pedestrian Collision near Vicksburg AvenueOAKLAND, CA (August 2, 2023) – Authorities arrested Santu Maya a month after a hit-and-run crash on Football Boulevard.The incident occurred near Vicksburg Avenue on Friday, June 16th.Per reports, the driver of a black Mercedes-Benz struck Maya who was crossing the street within a marked crosswalk. Upon impact, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid or contacting police.Medical personnel arrived and transported 58-year-old Maya to a nearby hospital where she eventually succumbed to her injuries.Authorities managed to arrest the suspect nearly a month after the incident in the Fairfax neighborhood in East Oakland. Alleged Lake Tahoe foot fondler identified, arrested in NorCal (KRON) -- A man accused of breaking into a Lake Tahoe resort and fondling women's feet has been apprehended, sheriff's investigators said Wednesday. The suspected foot fondler was identified as Mark Anthony Gonzales, 26, of Atwater, Calif., according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in Nevada. The creepy pre-dawn incidents happened when many tourists were vacationing around Lake Tahoe for the Fourth of July holiday. "During the early morning hours between July 1-3, 2023, an adult male entered two Stateline resort condominiums by opening unlocked screen doors.
