Traffic stop led to arrest for weapon charges in Fairfield

(KRON) – A 26-year-old woman was arrested on various gun charges by the Fairfield Police Department. Fairfield officers conducted an enforcement traffic stop. According to police, a handgun was in “plain view” of the vehicle. 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after Oakland shooting Officers subsequently found three guns after a vehicle search. The guns were found in the front passenger floorboard, front passenger seat, and center console. According to the police investigation, one of the firearms was reported stolen. DENVER (KDVR) -- One person is dead after an officer-involved shooting on Christmas Eve on Highway 36 in Boulder County.Colorado State Patrol said troopers responded at about 11:40 a.m. Sunday to the area of Highway 36 and McCaslin Boulevard to "assist a motorist.When the trooper approached the vehicle, CSP said he noticed bullet holes in the window. He backed away and called for additional officers.Deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office arrived and worked with the CSP trooper and talked the person into coming out of the vehicle. AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Nearly 100 people experiencing homelessness got to celebrate Christmas Eve in a special way. Local nonprofit WeCanNow passed out food, clothing and hygiene products to those who needed them. It's a holiday tradition the organization has done for three years. "We have hygiene. We have tons of clothes," We Can Now CEO and founder Antony Jackson said. "We're going to have a hot meal out here. We have presents, toys, dog treats."'A lot of love'Jackson said he doesn't want anyone to feel forgotten during the holidays.
