Driver crashes into restaurant in West Hollywood

Crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to West Hollywood after a driver crashed their car into a local restaurant.  Calls about the crash at 7141 Santa Monica Boulevard, near Formosa Avenue, came in just before 7 p.m., officials confirmed to KTLA.  Video of the scene captured by Sky5 showed heavy damage to Jones restaurant. 10 Freeway closure costing some drivers more money

With the 10 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles likely to remain closed for the next several weeks, forcing drivers to find alternate routes to their destinations, it’s not just adding extra time to their commute, in some cases, it’s also costing more money for drivers whose alternatives include pricey toll roads.  After the massive Nov. 11 fire damaged the freeway, prompting an emergency declaration from Gov. Klay Thompson, Draymond Green ejected after altercation with Timberwolves

SAN FRANCISCO — Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were ejected from the Warriors game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night following a heated altercation with Jaden McDaniels.Thompson and McDaniels got in a shoving match two minutes after tip-off when Thompson put a hand on McDaniels on a Minnesota miss and McDaniels fired back by pulling on Thompson’s jersey, ripping it.Both teams came into separate the two. That’s when Green entered the fray and grabbed Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert and put him in a headlock, pulling him away from the scrum. Southbound lanes of US-101 closed after fatal crash

(KRON) -- Southbound lanes of Highway 101 closed Tuesday evening after a crash, California Highway Patrol said. The crash happened at Grand Avenue in South San Francisco. One person is dead in the crash, which involved a pedestrian, CHP said. All southbound lanes were closed immediately after the crash. The left lane has since reopened. There is no estimated time for the other lanes to reopen. This is a developing story. Stick with KRON4 for updates.

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Golden State Warriors stars Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were ejected from Tuesday night's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after a skirmish broke out on the court. The kerfuffle happened less than two minutes into the game before either team scored a point. It began when Thompson and Timberwolves' forward Jaden McDaniels got tied up near midcourt. More players joined the crowd, and Green put Minnesota center Rudy Gobert into a headlock. San Diego Padres owner Peter Seidler, who spent big in pursuit of a World Series title, dies at 63 McDaniels and Thompson were ejected, and Green was assessed a flagrant 2 foul for wrapping up Gobert, which also warrants an automatic ejection. Nevada teachers group intends to sue over money approved to fund A's stadium

(KRON) -- A Nevada teachers' group has announced state legislators there violated the constitution when they okayed a bill to give the A’s $380 million in public money to help fund a new A’s stadium in Las Vegas. Now, they intend to sue. The news comes as major league owners are meeting in Texas this week and are poised to ok the A’s relocation to Las Vegas.
